How do I change the phone number on my account?

To update your information, simply log into your SoFi account via the SoFi website or Mobile App! 

Mobile App Instructions

1. Click on the Profile Icon in the top left corner, and select My Information.
2. Locate the Contact Info section and click the Edit link next to Mobile Phone. 
3. Validate your current phone number.
4. Put your new phone number in and receive a verification code to confirm the new number.
5. Select Forget remembered devices.
6. Enter your new mobile phone number in the Phone number field. Then, click Send Text.
7. Check your phone for a text from SoFi that contains the six-digit verification code. Enter the code in the box. Then, click Verify code. 
8. You will be redirected to your profile home page. To confirm that the update is successful, repeat steps 1 & 2 and review the phone number listed in your profile. 

Congrats! You have successfully updated your phone number!

Desktop Instructions

1. Log into your account.
2. Click on your name in the top right corner, and select My Profile.
3. Locate the Contact Info section and click the Edit link. 
4. Locate the Mobile Phone section and click Change Phone Number.
5. Confirm your current phone number.
6. Enter your new mobile phone number in the Phone number field. Then, click Send Text.
7. Check your phone for a text from SoFi that contains the six-digit verification code. Enter the code in the box. Then, click Verify code. 
8. You will be redirected to your profile home page. To confirm that the update is successful, repeat steps 2 & 3 and review the phone number listed in your profile.
