If you’ve recently used your SoFi Debit Card you may see a pending transaction on your account. Pending transactions could be purchases, pre-authorizations, or other transactions that have not yet been posted to your account. Common types of these transactions are pre-authorizations at gas stations, or security deposits at a hotel or car rental agency.
Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel transactions that are in a pending status. If a transaction has remained in a ‘pending’ state for longer than a few business days, we recommend you reach out to the vendor that initiated the transaction for further information.
If you would like to dispute a pending transaction with SoFi, please wait until the charge has been fully posted to your account. Disputes can not be initiated for transactions that are still pending. For more information on how to submit a dispute, you can read more here.
