Your direct deposit will split based on the order in which the different ‘rules’ were created.
For example, if you set up a ‘rule’ to move 30% of your $1,500 direct deposit into your Emergency Fund Vault before you set up a ‘rule’ to split 10% of your $1,500 direct deposit into a SoFi Invest, it will happen in this order:
- $450 → Emergency Fund Vault
- $150 → SoFi Invest
Remember, if you are setting up your ‘rule’ as a percentage of your paycheck, the percentage is always based on your original direct deposit amount—not what’s left. So, if your direct deposit amount is $1,500:
$450 → Emergency Fund Vault (30% of $1,500) ✔️
$150 → SoFi Invest (10% of $1,500) ✔️
$450 → Emergency Fund Vault (30% of $1,500) ✔️
$105 → SoFi Invest (10% of $1,050) ❌
