How do I access the 529 Savings Plan Selection Tool?
Log in to your SoFi account, open the SoFi At Work Dashboard, and go to the Tools section to access the 529 Savings Plan Selection Tool.
What are the benefits of the 529 Plan Selection Tool?
This tool has two main benefits:
- It provides a monthly savings target based on the full price of the institution type you select and includes a projection using average financial aid for that institution type.
- It evaluates 50 direct-sold 529 Savings Plans and provides a recommended and alternate plan based on estimated state income tax benefits and fees.
How do I enroll in a 529 plan that the tool recommends?
After completing the tool, click the link for either the recommended or alternate option to visit that plan provider’s website and enroll directly with them.
Please note: SoFi does not currently offer a 529 savings plan directly. The tool helps guide you to available plan options.
