Once you are enrolled, you can update, suspend, or change your contribution setup through your account.
How do I update my contribution loans?
You can update your student loan contribution information online:
- Log in to SoFi.com
- Click the At Work tab
- Locate your Student Loan Contribution benefit
- Select Change Contributions
- Either connect with Plaid or upload a student loan statement
Please note: due to the federal STOP Act, third-party account linking services like Plaid can no longer send SoFi federal student loan data for this benefit. If you are verifying a federal student loan, you will need to manually upload a monthly billing statement dated within the past 60 days.
How do I change which student loan the contribution is going toward?
To change the loan receiving the contribution, update your loan information by uploading a new loan statement or reconnecting your loan through your account.
How do I suspend the student loan contribution?
You can suspend or unenroll from the contribution online.
Please keep in mind:
- Updates may take up to 1 business day to appear in your account.
- To stop that month’s contribution, the update must be completed before the 10th of the month.
- If the suspension happens after the 10th, you may still receive that month’s contribution.
How long do I get the student loan contribution?
Your employer determines how long the benefit lasts.
