Not at this time. Instant Transfers (powered by the FedNow® Service) are currently supported only between your own connected accounts. You can’t use Instant Transfers to send money to someone else or to merchants.
Instant Transfers are designed for moving your own money between your accounts in real time — not for peer-to-peer payments or bill payments.
For other payment needs, consider alternate options:
- Sending money to friends or family (U.S.) → use Zelle or SoFi Pay a Friend
- Paying bills → use SoFi Bill Pay
- Large transfers → use Wire Transfers
