Some properties qualify for a Property Inspection Waiver, your Mortgage Loan Originator will be able to advise if your property is qualified. All other properties will require a full, in-person appraisal inspection.
You will be sent a link with instructions regarding how to pay for the appraisal upfront. Appraisal fees are not refundable if you decide to withdraw your application or your loan is declined.
SoFi Home Loans will also allow the appraisal to be transferred, you will need to contact your Mortgage Loan Originator with the request.
