Exchange rates shift constantly, so the amount your recipient gets may vary depending on when you send the money. The estimate you see when you begin the payment is based on the most recent rate available at that time.
On the final review screen, the exchange rate is locked in for a limited time. You’ll also see that the network fee has been applied and will be deducted from the amount your recipient receives. This screen gives you a full breakdown before you confirm the payment. To learn more about how fees work, read Are there fees to send money internationally?
We use real-time rates from our payment network partner and work to keep them as competitive as possible.
