How do I move money to and from a vault in SoFi Checking and Savings?

To transfer funds to or from a Vault:

1. From your SoFi Savings account homepage, select the Vault you want to manage.
2. Tap Transfer.
3. Choose:
   • The source account (linked SoFi account only; external ACH transfers are not available directly to Vaults).
   • Confirm the Vault you want to transfer “to”.
   • The frequency (One-time or Recurring).
   • The amount to transfer.
4. Click Review.
5. Finally, slide to confirm. 

Note: To move funds from an external bank, first transfer the money to your SoFi Checking and Savings account, then move it into your Vault.

Setting up recurring transfers via AutoPilot:

AutoPilot makes saving easier by automating transfers to and from Vaults.

To set up automatic transfers:

1. From your SoFi Checking and Savings homepage, select AutoPilot.
2. Choose:
   • Deposit (Recurring Deposit or Direct Deposit) or
   • Save (for recurring Vault transfers).
3. Click Add New.
4. Set the:
   • Amount and frequency (One-time, Monthly or Every direct deposit).
   • Day of the month for the transfer.
5. Select the account to transfer funds from.
6. Confirm the transfer or deposit.

Tip: Transfers between SoFi accounts are instant.
