In some cases, access to Mobile Check Deposit (MCD) may require an initial qualifying deposit.
- Members may need to successfully deposit $500 or more into a SoFi Checking and Savings account before MCD becomes available.
- If a deposit is required, a prompt will appear within the MCD flow with instructions to add funds.
- For members with multiple accounts, only one $500 deposit into either account is needed to meet this requirement.
After the qualifying deposit is completed, it may take up to 24 hours for the system to update and enable MCD access.
