Do you offer joint accounts with SoFi Checking and Savings?

Yes, we offer joint accounts with SoFi Checking and Savings! You have two options to get started:

To add someone to your existing individual account:

1. Click into your Checking account
2. Select the Gear icon
3. Select Add a joint account owner
4. Enter the first name, and email address, and select the relationship of the potential joint account holder.
5. An email invitation will be sent to the secondary individual. Please note the invitation will expire after 30 days.
6. You may also resend or cancel the invitation once it has been sent by following steps 1-2.

To open a brand new joint account:

1. Select the Gear icon from your SoFi Checking and Savings Homepage
2. Select Open a new account
3. Then select Joint account
4. Enter the first name, and email address, and select the relationship of the potential joint account holder.
5. An email invitation will be sent to the secondary individual. Please note the invitation will expire after 30 days.
6. You may also resend or cancel the invitation once it has been sent by following steps 1-2.

NOTE: The option to merge accounts does not exist at this time.
