Yes, we offer joint accounts with SoFi Checking and Savings! You have two options to get started:
To add someone to your existing individual account:
- Click into your Checking account
- Select the Gear icon
- Select Add a joint account owner
- Enter the first name, and email address, and select the relationship of the potential joint account holder.
- An email invitation will be sent to the secondary individual. Please note the invitation will expire after 30 days.
- You may also resend or cancel the invitation once it has been sent by following steps 1-2.
To open a brand new joint account:
- Select the Gear icon from your SoFi Checking and Savings Homepage
- Select Open a new account
- Then select Joint account
- Enter the first name, and email address, and select the relationship of the potential joint account holder.
- An email invitation will be sent to the secondary individual. Please note the invitation will expire after 30 days.
- You may also resend or cancel the invitation once it has been sent by following steps 1-2.
NOTE: The option to merge accounts does not exist at this time.
