SoFi Money changed the partner bank that powers our cash management account on 7/1/2020 from WSFS to The Bancorp Bank. That meant changing the routing number associated with your account (and all SoFi Money accounts) and changes to how we process ACH transfers moving forward (i.e., writing a check, setting up a bill pay that pulls directly from your SoFi Money account, etc.).
We mailed out new checks with the new routing number to all members who had a checkbook with the “old” routing number. We also made a system-level change so that all SoFi Money transactions use the updated routing number. We also reached out to your connected accounts and requested that they update your account connection to the new routing number.
Additionally, you can also expect the newest Covid-19 stimulus payments to be deposited into your SoFi Money account if previous stimulus payments have been deposited into that account. We know that speed is important here, so we’re doing everything possible to try to get our members their payment electronically, including extending our previous routing number for stimulus payments through at least 3/31/21.
