Yes, you can request the cancellation of a mobile check deposit as long as the request falls within the following time-frames/guidelines:
- If your deposit is made before 5:30 PM ET on a business day, you must notify SoFi by 5:30 PM ET the same day to successfully cancel the deposit.
- If the deposit is made on a non-business day, or after 6 PM ET on a business day, you must notify SoFi by 5:30 PM ET on the following business day.
Please understand, if you make the deposit between 5:30 PM ET and 6 PM ET on a business day, it is unlikely SoFi will be able to cancel the deposit since it is so close to the system processing time, but an attempt can still be made.
