Can I instantly transfer funds from my SoFi Invest account to my SoFi Checking or Savings account?

Yes. If you need to access your available funds, you can initiate a withdrawal at any time from the SoFi Mobile App or sofi.com. Here's how:

SoFi App

  1. Click into the Invest account you would like to withdraw from, tap on the “Trade” button at the bottom right corner of the screen, then "Withdraw".
  2. Choose the amount you would like to withdraw (up to the amount of withdrawable cash available).
  3. Select the 'From' and 'To' accounts for transfer.
  4. Finally, click 'Review' when you are ready to submit your withdrawal. (Important notes: Instant cash transfers may be limited to settled funds only. Deposits from SoFi Bank to your Invest account my require 1 business day for settlement before it can be withdrawn back to SoFi Bank. If you're not withdrawing to your SoFi Checking or Savings account, it can take 1-3 business days for your funds to post into the selected account based on normal ACH deposit timeframes).

  1. Click into the Invest account you would like to withdraw from, select "More", then "Withdraw cash".

  2. Choose the amount you would like to withdraw (up to the amount of withdrawable cash available showing).
  3. Select the 'From' and 'To' accounts for transfer.
  4. Finally, click 'Review' when you are ready to submit your withdrawal. (Important notes: Instant cash transfers may be limited to settled funds only.  Please Note: Your ‘To’ account may default to the first account linked when your SoFi Invest
 account was opened. Be sure to double-check and change the ‘To’ account to your SoFi Checking or Savings
 account.

For Active Invest accounts, you will see your funds in your SoFi Checking or Savings account instantly.

For Automated Invest accounts, the funds will show in 4-6 business days. The system will need to liquidate your investments and the proceeds will need to settle before they are withdrawn from the account.
