How do I buy and sell a stock on the SoFi app?

To buy or sell a stock, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log In
    Open the SoFi Mobile App and tap the "Invest" icon at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Find a Stock
    Use the "Search" icon (magnifying glass) to search by stock symbol or company name, or tap a stock from your watchlist.
  3. View Stock Details
    Once you've selected a stock, tap on the name or symbol to view details, including the current price.

  1. Tap the Trade button, then select Buy
  2. Choose the type of order (Market Order, Limit Order, etc.)
  3. Enter the number of shares or dollar amount you'd like to invest
  4. Review your order, then tap Buy to confirm
  5. Once complete, tap Done

  2. Choose the type of order (Market Order, Limit Order, etc.)
  3. Enter the number of shares you want to sell
  4. Review the trade details, including the market price and estimated proceeds
  5. Tap Sell to confirm
  6. Once the trade is complete, tap Done
