Which documents can I upload to provide proof of address for my loan? – SoFi

To verify your address, please upload a document that shows your first and last name and your physical address.

You may use one of the following:

Valid U.S. federal or state government-issued identification
- Military IDs and federal government IDs are not accepted
- Personal Loan: If you are applying for a Personal Loan, valid federal or state government-issued identification from Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, and Guam is also acceptable
- Student Loan Refinance / Private Student Loan: If you are applying for a Student Loan Refinance or Private Student Loan, valid federal or state government-issued identification from Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or American Samoa is also acceptable
One of the following documents that includes your first and last name and physical address:
- Utility bill, issued within the last 30 days
  - Cell phone bills are not accepted
- Bank statement, issued within the last 30 days
  - Credit card statements and SoFi Money statements are not accepted
- Mortgage statement, issued within the last 30 days
- Investment account statement, issued within the last 30 days
- Student loan statement, issued within the last 30 days
  - The associated loan must be in tradelines
- Pay stub, issued within the last 30 days
  - It must also meet income verification requirements
- Property tax statement
- Escrow statement
- Mortgage deed
- Mortgage closing package
- Signed or executed lease agreement
- USPS change of address card
