Apple Pay:
 

Setting up Apple Pay
  1. Open the Apple Wallet App.
  2. Select the + sign in the top right corner of the screen to add a card.
  3. Touch 'Enter Card Details Manually' at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Enter the name on the card and the card number, then touch "Next".
  5. Enter the expiration date and the CCV.
  6. Review the Terms and Conditions, then click on "Agree".
  7. Select to verify the card with either text message or email.
Apple Pay Checkout
  1. When prompted to pay, hold the device within 1/2 inch to an inch of the contactless terminal. An image of the SoFi Money card will appear on the screen. 
  2. If there are multiple cards within Apple Pay, tap the screen to choose another card.
  3. Rest finger on the TouchID® sensor and wait for confirmation of fingerprint verification. 
  4. When the payment is successful, the device will show "Done" with a checkmark on the screen.
  5. If prompted for Credit or Debit on the terminal, choose Credit. 
  6. If the last four digits of the card must be provided, use the device account number.
  7. For iPhone, open Wallet, tap the card, then tap the info icon to see the device account number. 
Apple Pay Returns
  1. On the device used to make the original payment, select the card in Apple Pay that should be refunded.
  2. Hold the device near the reader and authorize the return with TouchID or passcode.

 

Google Pay:
 

Setting up Google Pay
  1. Open the Google Pay app.
  2. Sign in with your Google account.
  3. Click on the "+Payment method" button.
  4. Next, select "Credit or debit card".
  5. Use the auto-capture feature to take a picture of the card, or enter the card information manually. 
  6. Review the issuer terms, then click "Accept & continue".
  7. Once the issuer terms have been accepted, Google Pay will contact your bank to add the card. 
  8. The screen will show that the bank is verifying the card. 
  9. Select the method of verification. Choose to receive a verification code via text message or email. 
  10. Enter the verification code, then click "Submit". 
  11. If the card was successfully added, it will be shown in the list of available cards in Google Pay.


 

Samsung Wallet:
 

Setting up Samsung Wallet
  1. Open the Samsung Wallet App.
  2. Sign into your Samsung account.
  3. Press the “Menu” button at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select the ‘Payment Cards’ option.
  5. Select the plus sign at the top right of the screen to add a new card.
  6. Select ‘Add payment cards’ option.
  7. You will have the option to take a photo of the card details or add the card number, cardholder name, expiration date, and security code manually. 
  8. Once the details are captured select ‘Next’.
  9. Review the Terms and Conditions then press "AGREE TO ALL". 
  10. Verify the card by selecting either SMS or Email.
  11. Enter the verification code from the SMS or Email, then press "SUBMIT".
Samsung Checkout
  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the lock screen to access cards.
  2. Swipe to locate the SoFi Checking & Savings or SoFi Money debit card. 
  3. Place your finger on the home button to verify identity.
  4. To use Samsung PIN instead, touch PIN and enter the four-digit PIN. 
  5. When prompted to pay by the terminal, place the back of the device about 1/2 inch about the card reader on the payment terminal.

 

You can also add your SoFi Money debit card to your mobile wallet through the SoFi App by following the instructions below:

  1. Log into your SoFi Money Account and select the Gear Icon.
  2. Select ‘Debit Card’.
  3. Select “Add to Wallet’.
  4. Confirm info on screen is accurate then click Next.
  5. Next, Agree to the Terms and Conditions for your Mobile Payment services.
  6. Once completed, you may receive a push notification confirming the add to your mobile wallet as well as seeing the final confirmation screen within the SoFi app.
