An error may have been received due to one of the following reasons:
- Verification - Please make sure you are the owner on the external account and make sure your name on file matches on both accounts. If you need to update your name at SoFi, please email us.
- If you're able to find your other institution in the Plaid search, we recommend using that instead of manually entering your routing and account number.

- Too Many Attempts - If you'd had multiple failed attempts to link your account, you'll be able to try again on the date shown in the error message.
Follow-Up Question - Are there other ways for me to deposit/withdraw money in the meantime?
You can still deposit checks, complete ATM withdrawals, or make bill payments. You can also try linking your SoFi Money cash management account to another institution or different external account to transfer funds in or out.
