When you start an application and check your rate, the application includes a question asking if you would like to include a co-borrower. Simply check yes and you will be prompted with instructions for how to add your co-borrower.
Please note that you will be asked to provide information about your co-borrower’s employment, income, and education. We encourage you to be with your co-borrower when you co-apply.
If you have already submitted your loan application and would like to add a co-borrower to your existing application, you are welcome to withdraw your current application and reapply. Start a new application with a co-borrower, to see if you are eligible. Please note, each new application results in a new soft credit inquiry, however, a soft credit pull will not affect your credit score.
