No, these are two separate accounts. Your Robo Invest account and the money in it is managed by SoFi, while your Self-Directed Invest account allow you to take control. The benefit of your Robo Invest account is that you can set your goal(s) and let it grow passively. For your Self-Directed Invest account, you can direct the mix and risk daily.
