To deposit a check, please click on the 'Check deposit' icon from the Money homepage.
On the 'Deposit Amount' screen, enter the amount to be deposited and select 'Next'.
The following disclaimer will populate alerting you of funds availability, Click "OK" to proceed.
On the 'Deposit instructions' screen, you will be shown how to correctly endorse your check. Select "Take photos" to continue. *NOTE:You must include, "For electronic deposit at SoFi Money only" below your signature.
The camera frame will load on the screen and prompt you to capture the 'Font of check'. for best results place the check on dark background in a well-lit area.
The colored bar will fill from left to right as the camera is held still.
You must frame the check within the borders of the onscreen rectangle.
NOTE:If the check is not positioned correctly or there are other issues, failure screens will require you to correct an error with either the check itself or the images of the check and attempt to resubmit it.
Pop-up boxes will allow you to fix or action the issue in-session. If these issues cannot be resolved, the check will not be accepted for deposit.
When the bar is filled, a success message will pop up on the screen.
Click "OK" and the 'Back of check' interface is presented (same capture conditions apply as on the 'Front of check').

Once submitted, you will be asked to 'Review deposit.' Once you are confident the details are correct, select "Deposit Check".
The check will be uploaded and evaluated.
Once accepted, a confirmation message will be presented.
You will also receive an email indicating we have received the check.
