How to Enroll in the SoFi Insured Deposit Program (SIDP)
If you already have a SoFi Checking and Savings account, follow these steps to enroll in the SIDP:
- If you have a SoFi Checking and Savings account, log in to your account in the app or on SoFi.com and go to Banking > More menu (...) > SoFi Insured Deposit Program.
- Review Terms & Conditions: You will be redirected to a landing page where you can review the program's Terms & Conditions.
- Complete Enrollment: After reviewing and accepting the Terms & Conditions, complete the enrollment process on that page.
- Confirmation: Upon successful enrollment, you will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.
How to Un-enroll from the SIDP
If you decide to un-enroll from the SIDP, you can do so through self-service:
- If you have a SoFi Checking and Savings account, log in to your account in the app or on SoFi.com and go to Banking > More menu (...) > SoFi Insured Deposit Program.
- Review Terms & Conditions: You will be redirected to a landing page where you can review the program's Terms & Conditions.
- Agree to Un-enroll: Select the option "I agree to un-enroll from the SoFi Insured Deposit Program".
- Confirm Un-enrollment: Select the Un-enroll box.
- Confirmation: A confirmation message in a black text box will appear, stating, "You have un-enrolled from the SoFi Insured Deposit Program".
Note for New Members
If you are a new member, you will need to open a SoFi Checking and Savings account first. You can do this by visiting sofi.com/banking
