On Saturday, March 1, 2025, SoFi Relay is kicking off the Ambition Sweepstakes that will run through Sunday, August 31, 2025, giving out a total of $46K* to 8 lucky winners to open the doors to their ambitions.
Prizes consist of:
- Two (2) Grand Prizes (One (1) per Entry Period): Winner will receive $20,000 cash, deposited into their SoFi Checking & Savings account.
- Six (6) First Prizes (Three (3) per Entry Period): Winner will receive $1,000 cash, deposited into their SoFi Checking & Savings account.
Who is eligible?
Sweepstakes is open to existing members and new members of SoFi who are legal residents of 1 of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age or older as of time/date of entry. * Parents or legal guardians of any prize winner under the age of majority in their state/jurisdiction of residence (which is 18 in most states but is 19 in Alabama and Nebraska and 21 in Mississippi) may be required to also sign the Declaration in order for the prize winner to be qualified to receive his or her prize. Employees, officers and directors of Social Finance LLC, Realtime Media LLC, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, contest, fulfillment and marketing agencies (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Parties”), their immediate family members and those living in the same household as such individuals (whether legally related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes or win a prize. How do I enter?
Instructions to enter the sweepstakes will be clearly outlined at https://www.sofi.com/relay-sweepstakes/. There are four (4) possible ways to receive one (1) entry into the random drawing for the applicable Entry Period, subject to the limit below. Follow all on-screen instructions to enter by visiting https://www.sofi.com/relay-sweepstakes/:
1. Sign Up for Free Credit Score Monitoring with SoFi: Visit SoFi.com/relay-sweepstakes/ and follow instructions to enter/sign up for a free credit score monitoring account with SoFi on the page before the end of the Promotion Period.
2. Link an External Financial Account to SoFi via Plaid, Inc.: Visit SoFi.com/relay-sweepstakes/ and follow instructions to enter/link an external account to SoFi Relay using Plaid, Inc.’s service on the page before the end of the Promotion Period. If you are already monitoring your credit score with SoFi, use the same SoFi account to link an external account. You can link a checking, savings, mortgage, credit card, investment, retirement, or other financial account.
3. Alternate Method of Entry (mail-in 3x5 paper or card): If you have already received an entry for taking the steps above, or do not choose to enter in those ways, you may enter by mailing in a 3x5 inch paper or card with your legibly hand-printed full name and email address used to register for your SoFi account:

Each entry must be mailed separately in a hand-addressed, properly-stamped envelope. Mailed-in entries must be postmarked and received no later than the dates set forth in the table below, to be eligible for the Sweepstakes.
Regardless of method or combination of methods of entry, there is a limit of up to 2 entries per person per Entry Period during the Promotion Period.
How will people find out about this?
SoFi will announce and market the sweepstakes across their organic social channels, in email, in-app messaging, and on a landing page beginning on March 1, and will drive to https://www.sofi.com/relay-sweepstakes
When will this happen?
The sweepstakes will begin on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 12:00 A.M. ET and will end at 11:59:59 P.M. ET on August 31, 2025, and is comprised of 2 entry periods as set forth in the table below:
How is the winner selected?
Winners will be randomly selected in this Sweepstakes (4 for each Entry Period drawing) from all eligible entries received in accordance with the Official Rules. Random drawing will be conducted on or about June 10, 2025 for Entry Period #1 and September 10, 2025 for Entry Period #2.
What is included in the grand prize?
Two (2) Grand Prize (1 per Entry Period) winners will receive $20,000 cash, deposited into their SoFi Checking & Savings account.
Six (6) First Prizes (3 per Entry Period): Each winner will receive $1,000 cash, deposited into their SoFi Checking & Savings account.
*If the grand prize or first prize winners do not have a SoFi Savings or Checking Account, he or she can open an account for free in the SoFi app or at SoFi.com in order to receive the prize or it will be forfeited. In the event a person attempts to open a SoFi Checking & Savings account and is deemed ineligible for the account, SoFi will distribute the prize amount in a reasonable alternate manner at SoFi’s discretion.
How will I know if I won?
SoFi will reach out via email (To the email address used to create the SoFi.com account) as the first step in the winner notification process to confirm eligibility. Then, keep an eye out for an email from our third-party sweeps agency Realtime Media confirming your form completion and next steps (outreach@rtm.com).
Potential winner will be notified by email in a commercially reasonable time after the drawing, and will be required to complete and submit a prize redemption form and a declaration of eligibility/release of liability/prize acceptance agreement, within seven (7) days of date of notification, and will also be required to submit 2-3 headshots of themselves and a written response regarding what ambitions they will put their winnings towards, to the specifications set forth by the Sponsor, as a condition of receiving a prize. If the potential winner fails or refuses to sign and return the Redemption Form, Declaration, and/or Ambitions Content within the required time period or if it’s returned as rejected, faulty, unclaimed or returned as undeliverable to potential winner, and/or the potential winner is otherwise noncompliant, the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected, up to 3 alternates, after which the applicable prize will remain un-awarded.
