You have multiple options when it comes to making a credit card payment. The preferred method is through the web or mobile app, but you can also make payments by speaking to a customer service agent or mailing your payment.
Please refer to your cardholder agreement for detailed terms and conditions on how to pay. Payments must be made using a personal checking/savings account or by check. Debit cards and wires cannot be used at this time. When a payment is credited and posted depends on the payment method used and the time of day the payment is submitted. Make a Payment Menu
You can access the Payment menu by clicking/tapping on the Pay widget in the SoFi Credit Card web browser or mobile app. From there you will have options to make a payment, schedule a payment, set up autopay, and link/remove payment accounts. See below:
1. AUTOPAY: You can enable/disable the autopay feature with this option. You will have the option to set autopay for Full Statement Balance or Minimum Due each month. You will also choose or add a payment account from which the payment will be debited.
2. CUSTOM PAYMENT AMT: Update the one-time payment amount and select the desired payment date
3. PAYMENT OPTIONS: Choose between pre-determined payment amount options. Options will only show if the balance has not yet been satisfied for the current cycle.
4. PAYMENT DATE: You can schedule same-day or future payments. Choose the date you wish the payment to be processed.
5. PAYMENT ACCOUNT: Use this option to add/remove or change the payment source being used. If it’s the first time you’ve added an account, follow the prompts to connect your account through Plaid - our banking data integration partner.

Can I cancel a payment?
- If you wish to cancel a payment, you will need to call our customer service team at (844) 945-SOFI (7634). Payments made from non-SoFi accounts can be canceled up to 5 PM ET on the payment date (except for the following scenarios).
- Limitations:
- Payments made from a SoFi account are debited instantly and cannot be canceled.
- Autopayment can only be canceled if the request is before 5 PM ET the day before the payment date.
- We can NOT cancel mailed checks by members or through bill pay on behalf of the member. Please contact the party or financial institution issuing the check to cancel it.

How do I change my payment due date?
- If you wish you change your due date, you will need to contact our customer service team at (844) 945-SOFI (7634).
- Note:
- Due dates may only be changed once every 12 months.
- The account must be current for the due date change to take effect.
- Only the Primary cardholder can make the request.
- Billing Cycle changes may take 1-2 billing cycles to take effect, it is important to keep making your regular scheduled payment until you see the new due date has taken effect.
- If you have signed up for autopay, your auto payment date will always be the same date of your permanent due date.
- Note:
Can I make a payment from a SoFi Bank/Money vault?
- No. Payments must come from a spend account; and can NOT be debited from your vaults. If you intend to make your payment with a SoFi Bank/Money account, you need to transfer money out of the vault and into the payment account first.

Can you refund a payment?
- At this time we do not offer refunds for payments, unless the payment results in a negative credit balance exceeding $1.00. This can be the result of overpayment, returned items, or reversed fees. A customer with a negative credit balance can request a refund for the amount of the credit balance, if it exceeds $1.00, or the system will generate one if the credit remains on the account for 150 days.
