Who is eligible?
To be eligible you must be a NEW SoFi member (joined SoFi on or after 2/25/23), a legal resident of the 49 United States or the District of Columbia (residents of Florida are NOT eligible to enter or win), and at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees of SoFi, Stadco LA LLC, the NFL Entities and each of their respective parent companies, affiliated companies, distributors or agencies and members of the immediate families are not eligible. See official rules for details: sofi.com/sofi-x-matpat-sweepstakes/
How do I enter?
Instructions to enter the sweepstakes will be clearly outlined at SoFi.com/sofi-x-matpat-sweepstakes/. To enter and receive entry in the Sweepstakes’ random drawing, an eligible entrant must do the following:
- If an entrant is a new SoFi member (joined SoFi on or after 2/25/23), they must use the link provided on MatPat’s video promoting the sweepstakes (SoFi.com/gametheory) and follow all on screen instructions to register to become a member.
- Once an entrant becomes a member, they must register for SoFi Checking and Savings to be eligible.
- OR if entrant is not comfortable registering for Checking and Savings, the alternate method of entry is to simply register a SoFi log-in to become a member. (If selected to win, they must open a SoFi Checking and Savings Account to claim the prize)
- After the above steps are completed, they will receive one (1) entry in the Sweepstakes’ random drawing. Limit: one (1) entry per Entrant during the Entry Period.
When will this happen?
The sweepstakes will begin Saturday, February 25 at 12 AM ET and will end at 11:59 PM ET on March 11. The winner will be selected on or around March 15, 2023, and notified within a week.
How will people find out about this?
MatPat will promote the giveaway on their social channels, primarily YouTube. SoFi may market the sweepstakes across their social channels.
How is the winner selected?
One winner will be selected from all eligible entries received during the entry period by a random drawing. The random drawing will happen on or around March 15, 2023.
How will I know if I won?
Our third party sweeps agency Ventura will reach out via email (To the email address used to create the SoFi.com account) to confirm eligibility.
Potential winner will be notified by email on or about March 15, 2023, and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release plus an IRS W9 Form which must be completed, signed, and returned to Administrator within three (3) days from date on notification. If the potential winner does not respond within (3) days, the prize will be forfeited.
What is included in the grand prize?
The grand prize consists of $10,000 to be deposited into the winner’s SoFi Checking & Savings account. Though a Checking & Savings account is not required to be selected as a winner, it is required that winners have a Checking & Savings account to accept the prize.
