There are a few different ways to access setting up your direct deposit, so to keep it easy, we’ll only focus on accessing this feature through the ‘Money’ tab via our mobile app.
- Log into your SoFi account.
- Click on the ‘Money’ tab then click ‘More’
- Click ‘Direct deposit’, then select ‘Add new direct deposit’
- Select the account you would like your direct deposit to go in to, then click ‘Next’, then ‘Continue’
- Search for your payroll provider/employer
- Once an option has been selected, you will be asked to provide specific information regarding your employer/payroll provider.
Note: If you’ve selected a payroll provider, you may be prompted to log in.

When you see the ‘verification completed’ screen, you are all set! If you’re experiencing issues, your company’s payroll department may have more specific information about setting up direct deposit.
